Main theme for the project: Information technology has huge impact on youth culture , It plays essential role in many challenges facing young people specially in areas related to political participation , economic empowerment , community service , development of sense of active citizenship and intercultural learning process

Summary of the project:

In the last decade, all aspects of life were strongly affected by Information technology. youth are the ones who are mostly affected by information revolution . impact of information revolution is not only limited to the better management of youth issue or to the limit of opening thousands of job opportunities for young people , but also it exceed that to the overall change in youth culture as a result of:

● The ability of youth to access endless amounts of information and resources .

● The ability of youth to interact with new ideas and culture and being exposed to different attitudes and thoughts.

● The freedom to have open channels to expose themselves and express their ideas to the whole world

In this project, groups of young people from 6 different Euro Mediterranean countries are coming together to talk about youth and information and how information technology impacts:

· political participation and to which extend political opinion of youth is impacted by Information technology

· The economic life and role of information technology in economic empowerment of young people.

· community service and the role of Information technology in promotion of voluntary activities and finding partner for social activities

· inter-cultural dialogue and how information technology can play effective role in creating continuous inter-cultural learning process

The main activities will be based on active non formal learning process, participants will be involved in active leaning process driven by their inputs, and they will take part in the following activities:

· making review on web presence of different political movements in their countries

· make review on the different job opportunities available for young people as a result of the progress of IT field

· participate in organization of one day volunteering activity using social networking tools for finding volunteers and promoting the event

· development of content of website about the project

· after going home back , young people will arrange online inter-cultural dialouge between participants from local community in different countries

Financial aspects:

Participants will be reimbursed for 100% Visa Cost and 70% of the travel cost on display of their boarding passes. Reimbursement of travel costs will only be done upon full attendance in the activity and presentation of the original tickets with boarding passes and receipt/invoices.
Food and accommodation are 100% Covered
