Training Course is about increasing employment of youth through working on creating their project ideas in Youth in Action Programme.

The organisers:

PHOTO CINEMA AND VIDEO ASSOCIATION OF VOJVODINA is a nonprofit, nonpolitical, non-governmental association, established in order to meet their personal and collective interests and needs and achieving goals in photography, film and video. Association works on positive promotion of creatively thinking audience, which is mainly young people, and also works promotion of intercultural dialogue through art and culture (www.fkvsv.com)

About the Project

Training Course is about increasing employment of youth through working on creating their project ideas in Youth in Action Programme.

The main goal of our training course “New Youth Opportunities“ is to offer to participants new writting techniqes and learning methods for improving employment and inclusion of excluded groups of unemployed youth – youth with art and creative capacities. Idea is to build up participants creative capacities using non-formal education and YIA opportunities. As a result of our TC, participants will acquire knowledge, skills, experiences that will help them to apply for Youth in Action Programme grants. On that way participants will be able to make changes, first in themselves, than in their local comunities that will globaly increase employment of youth.

Activities on our training course: presentation of Youth in Action Programme and informing unemployed youth about new possiblities, non-formal education and informal way of learning, ice-breakers, team building exercises, individual and group activities, work on practical examples in a small groups, discussions, debates, presentations, project proposal witting, project cycle management, preparing and developing new projects under the Youth in Action Programme, Youth in Action Programme application procedure steps in details.

Target group on our training course are people actively involved in work with unemployed youth – youth with art and creative capacities (youth workers, volunteers, youth leaders, play workers, NGO activists, school teachers, social workers).

Objectives:

– To develop partner organizations with a view to implement an activity which helps all potential promoters to prepare and develop new projects under the Youth in Action Programme
– To ensure support and know-how for the development of the projects
– To support partner-finding
– To improve tools and means to develop high-quality projects
– To increase positive attitude of participants towards art capacity
– To create youth network of art and culture organizations
– To promote creating project proposals as a way of active youth participation
– To promote the access of unemployed young people to the Youth in Action Programme

The methodology:
Non-formal education and informal learning
This will be achieved by improvement of competences (knowledge, skills and attitudes) leading to the personal, educational and professional development of all participants and promoters

Working language:
English – all participants must be able to actively communicate using English language

Period of realization:
From 11th to 19th June 2013

Location:
Vrbas, Serbia

Partners:
All interested Program countries and Neighboring Partner countries.

Partner organizations role:
Role of sending organization will be to promote the project, select the appropriate candidates for the project and prepare them. Organization will provide the logistics and project evaluation. Organization will be responsible for the coordination of the conducting of the daily agenda with the help of trained professionals, and also would actively work on conducting the activities and presentations, would be responsible for coordinating the preparatory project phase where it would be having the role of facilitator on the internet meetings concerning the project discussions, would be having the role of technical assistance for the evaluation project phase where our team would be facilitating the evaluation outline and would be complying the evaluation results for the final report.

Funding:
100% for accommodation will be covered and 70% of travel cost (Apex tickets) will be reimbursed after receiving original receipts.
